A Little bit about me………

My name is Jonathan Levey, and I have proudly served as a Teaching Professional for over a decade. Having played golf since the age of six, I have always been captivated by the game’s unique blend of challenge, opportunity, and pure enjoyment.

Transforming that lifelong passion into a coaching career has been a privilege. Few things are more rewarding than guiding players toward their goals—then watching them exceed what they once believed possible. Helping golfers unlock deeper confidence and discover the same joy I’ve found in this sport is at the heart of everything I do.

Early in both my playing and coaching career, it became unmistakably clear that Putting—the most frequently used club in the bag and statistically the hardest to master—was also the most undervalued in practice and instruction. Recognising this gap, I dedicated myself to specialising in putting performance, making it the central focus of my coaching philosophy and business.

Today, I am proud to be Head PGA Professional at Bedlingtonshire Golf Club. Our collaboration reflects a shared commitment to bring excellence, precision, and the highest standards of modern golf coaching. Bedlingtonshire is renowned for its amazing putting and short game facilities and is constantly improving its facilities making it the perfect home for Jonathan Levey Golf.

    “After a period of missing short putts last year I started using a new face balanced putter and retired my heal toe balanced putter. Coming out of the winter my scores weren’t improving so I counted the number of putts taken in my rounds, 43, 44… - action required.

    I took an hour lesson with Jonathan. Analysis indicated that the new putter together with a forward positioning of the ball in my stance meant that I was striking the ball with more loft then what I have on my driver. Im now back with my Stalwart putter and employing better putting mechanics (which I now understand and appreciate). Progress is progressive but short putts no longer fill me with dread and medium length putts are regarded as a good opportunity to score well.”
